a lot of the artist website I have visited feels quite static.
maybe it’s the recent shift of perception we have about personal/portfolio-purposed websites,
it being distant,
cold,
a curated display of some already perfected work,
“professional”,
a stone, a wall for self-bragging,
a place that exists for the purpose of “you got to have one if you’re serious about what you do.”
while all the little pieces that makes a genuine individual are scattered,
by one’s choice, on social media,
centralized platforms,
where it’s intolerably chaotic,
and strategically controlled.
anyways,
this is the place you will find my whereabouts -
quite literally, my where, and my abouts.
it’s like you sit down with an old friend and you haven’t seen each other for years,
you talk, vigorously,
you gain some tangbile information coming out of their mouth,
but you also have a grasp of something untangbile
coming from their soul.
